Looks pretty sweet. I also appears they smoothed out some graphics in the World map. The "haze" makes for a nicer effect than I remember. I still really like the idea of having little avatars when they talk, but the art is awful... -_- They all look like they're 10.

Also, almost all of the dialog is voiced now. Although it kinda sucks because it actually slows down the game a lot. I have the tendency to finish reading before the VA can finish all the lines and I'm forced to sit there and wait for the voice acting to finish before I can push X. Check out www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChiS-SJ5yUk if you want an example of the voice acting. Lately, I've been playing Jeanne d'Arc. It's a tactics game for PSP, about Joan of Arc. I didn't know what to expect because the game is hardly mentioned but it's actually pretty good. I also like to think of it as Rogue Galaxy: Tactics because not only does it have the cel shaded characters but also the exact same tutorial system Rogue Galaxy had, not to mention that synthesis frog is actually in the game. Sure wasn't expecting that. |

I can actually see that being a really good idea, but they should give you the option of skipping if you've already read it. Plus, they should have kept it in Japanese.
At least Rena's voice sounds alright, but the acting it's self is awful... As expected...
Sounds like a cool game, but I find it hard for me to get into tactics games... Which is weird because that really sounds like something I'd be into... Any screens?

You know... I was looking at the old Art Book they have for the Manga version of the game, done by Mayumi Azuma, who imo is a great artist even outside of his Star Ocean series. If they would have gotten him to do some digital illustrations, the game would be ownage. Let's compare... Shall we? New: Claude looks like every other teenage emo anime guy, unlike the confident, "hot head" that he is. AND THEY SHAVED OFF LIKE... 8 YEARS OFF OF RENA, WHO WAS ALREADY PRETTY DARN YOUNG!!!!!!!  Old: THe characters have soul, presence and they give the impression that their personalities portray... Why on earth did they even try to change it...?  |

 The one thing I never got about the game's official art, is why Rena is carrying a sword? She never used one in the game. Go figure. Despite some of the changes though, the PSP port/remake really is improved over the PS1 version. Not only are some of the graphics enhanced but they added some new content and fixed the nasty bugs that were in the PS1 version, like that one that randomly crashes the game at the end of a battle. I dunno if you ever encountered it but I did on two occasions. Really sucked, since I was in the middle of a long dungeon. |

YES!!!! That is a good team you've got going there. I actually never had Opera either... but I remember having Ernest... But I can't remember... I need to find my PSX memory card.... -_- I wanna play SO2 again... seriously one of my favorite games still... And I still need to beat Colony Wars... -_-

I'm at the end of the game right now, but I'm trying to get some stuff done before I beat the game.
My main party has their best equipment, outside of Maze of Tribulations.
I'll post a video of the endings I get, when I get around to it.
