Apocalyptica will make anything epic. I really like their rock/classical songs, but not so crazy about their rock only or classical only ones... Corey listens to them a lot.
Thanks for posting that girl! I love that music... Not so much on a new-age music fan, but it's really pretty, and it's Japanese, so it must be good.

I am redesigning System Vector, and listening to this kind of music while working REALLY makes things better. It somehow makes my imagination "larger", and makes me visualize larger things. In turn, the ship designs are a lot better, lol. Justin posted a Apocolyptica song, and here is my response. I like these guys a bunch more. It doesn't get much better than this one... I was going to mention X-Ray Dog but you beat me to it. There's also Audiomachine, which gets used in movie trailers too.
Some of Hans Zimmer's work is pretty epic too. Gladiator probably being my favorite.

I've heard Audiomachine, but didn't even know anything about Hans Zimmer until I started playing some of his stuff. Although only really movie themes, they're pretty cool. The Armageddon and Last Samurai tracks are awesome.
