*SHOCK* That would be interesting to see a revisioned Code Geass. I wonder if they will go to the extremes like they did with the Escaflowne movie... Ooo.... A Code Geass movie..... *drool*

Interesting.....
It sounds like they are doing a Angel Links/Outlaw Star sort of thing. Same universe/history, different characters/story. I think it will be cool though. I am sort of glad that they wont be continuing the current Code Geass story though. I don't want it to become over done.

Supposedly that's just one of many things in the works. Got to milk the franchise for all it's worth, I guess.
Speculation says another season is in the works. I dunno but we'll see.. Would I like to see another season? Yeah, I think so. Even if it's going overboard, it's still entertaining. Actually, a lot of people thought season 2 was a bit much. There's a lot of stuff thrown in there, just out of nowhere. The boss fight against the planet Jupiter and the Rocket Emperor is a good example of that. It had a decent ending though, and it was good as a conclusion. If there's yet a third season continuing the story, a lot of tinkering would have to be done to get it to work.

It would be pretty cool to see a new take on the universe in general. Maybe not follow the same characters as Season 1 & 2, but maybe go into how Britania came into power in the first place? With all the events that lead up to it. That would bring some more depth to the series and maybe make it more enjoyable to watch a second (or fifth) time.

They could still do a prequel, though. Maybe they should have Charles be the main character and he'd still have Wakamoto playing his voice. That would be so awesome..
There's a lot of stuff that wasn't explained in the two anime seasons, though. Like where the Geass power originated from, or what C.C.'s real name is. So, maybe it'll be explained in future works.

Or should I say where witches originated from.

Apparently the new anime project is actually a side story that takes place in the battle for Europe during season 1. So possibly an entirely different cast of characters? But Cornelia was fighting over there.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!! Although... It'll probably be kinda like the Saikano series and just have a small dose of Code Geass goodness in it, while just trying to expand the world of Geass, rather than focusing on the story that made Code Geass so awesome. But we'll see

I honestly forgot all about this. It was announced almost two years ago and finally it seems it's going to be released this year! www.geass.jp/akito/www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMP8czTf3Wowww.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-01-12/maaya-sakamoto-sings-code-geass/akito-the-exiled-themeMayaa Sakamoto is playing the the main heroine and will be singing the theme song. There's also a fun OVA coming out called Nunnally in Wonderland, which is basically just Alice in Wonderland with Code Geass characters. It was also announced that a Code Geass movie was in the works as well and supposedly a part of the Lelouch of the Rebellion story. I'm sure it will be years before it'll actually come out and it's still unsure whether it's gonna be a continuation of the TV series or a retelling.
