Random statements:
I was reading up on SO4 (I've been playing SO3 the past few days, so I randomly decided to look back into it) and it will probably be released for 360 only..... >: ( How gay is that!? 360 has like.. 3 games I want for it, I will probably never buy one!!! The Star Ocean series seems to be the only RPG I can really get into also... Which sucks cause it's not THAT great, lol.
Anyway, I was reading up on the story, and it takes place in the not too distant future, supposed to take place in a post-WWIII Earth and humanity is taking it's first steps into the universe and has made "contact" (whatever that means). Sounds like a great opening for a good story and setting. I hope it has the major plot twists that the series is known for, although the twist in SO3 was a little... out there.
One thing that sounds flippin' awesome is that you actually take control of your own ship and explore the galaxy freely. This sort of open-endness really appeals to me and I really REALLY hope it comes to PS3, as I can seriously walk around in OS3 just having fun, so having different planets to explore and fight on is a dream of mine. I just hope they do a good job with it and you don't just get to explore 2 cities for each world or something stupid.
Anyway, just wanted to ramble about my favorite RPG series and whatever. I seriously hope it comes to PS3 though... I really hope to buy a PS3 next year already, but OS4 coming out on it would really close the deal.
