What's an avatar? What's a skin? How do I do whatever with them? What does Karma mean by "author"? I'm so lost as usual.

An avatar is like a personal icon or picture by your username that you create to fit your personality or interests. A skin is the theme (colors of the background, font, etc) of the site. The skins can be changed by going to your personal profile settings. And I think the karma thing is just a way of people getting popularity points, lol. I don't think that we're going to use the karma thing on the site though, unless you want to. Anyways, welcome to the board. ^__^ ;D
