Freakin' Sick... Mechwarrior: Living Legends.

They began this mod before Crysis was ever released, but only till lately have they started to release actual info on the game other than untextured models.

Living Legends is a Mechwarrior total conversion mod for Crysis, and it is supposed to be the most accurate to the Battletech universe, as they have multiple types of units, rather than just 'Mechs. It looks like they have every kind of unit, from Aerospace Fighters, Tanks, Infantry and Dropships. Enjoy these videos. Whether you like Mechwarrior or not, this looks to be a very promising mod.

Here's the teaser. Pretty typical stuff, and doesn't really show anything till the last 10 seconds of course. Even then it's a bit disappointing.

Here is some game play footage. It does not show any mech action though, I guess they're still working on it. Looks pretty awesome though. I may end up buying the game just to get this mod, lol.

Looks awesome but what sucks about mods like these is that half the time the development team gets a cease & desist order from the copyright owner and the mod's never released.

Good point... I hope that doesn't happen... The world is in desperate need for a new Mechwarrior game other than the retarded MechAssault games.
Maybe it helps that Microsoft canned Fasa Studios and do not plan on making a Mechwarrior game again...? Oh well.
