Yeah, I know. It's already week two and I'm not even close to getting out.
Ya know, the one good thing about this is that I do a lot of reading about pancreatic function and hyperinsulinemia. Its interesting stuff. If I was a dedicated person I'd go to school and help others that have to go through what I have. Well, hopefully my case will provide much needed data because there is so much the Doctors just dont know and people have the habbit of automatically thinking anyone who has trouble maintaing their

blood sugar has diabeties, because its so common. Even the paramedics thought I was diabetic with blood sugars in the 20s despite the fact that they believed me when I said I wasnt taking insulin. /rant

Nothing is stopping you from doing that though. ^_~ Actually it's often the doctors who have had major medical problems that become good, caring doctors. Especially if they specialize in the conditions that effect themselves as well. I think you'd be a good doctor. Lots of hours though, but worth it. Lots of school to though but still, good work. Interesting though, I love the way the body works. I can't wait till I get into Biology.

I took these the day after Jay's surgery. He was in great spirits, even though in a lot of pain. He lit up when he said "I'm cured". I'll never forget his face when he said that. Love to everyone

Good pictures. He looks a lot more happy, but I can't tell if that's because of the drugs or not. ^_^; I talked with him today and he sounded a lot better, and less drugged up. I can't wait for him to get home.

:-*Welcome home!!!! Have you slept 8 hours straight yet? Is your mom with you? It was great she could come down for you. It was nice seeing her and your dad. You don't look horrible in the pics, you look wonderful and free of your previous problem and on the road to health. Now I'm crying. I am soooooooooooo happy you are ok. I love you and I am always here for you. Welcome home hun!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Welcome back to the world of the living!
Yeah, I know the feeling somewhat. After I get home from visiting you guys in Tucson, my apartment feels really off, like, I don't know it very well. Kind of alien. Although, I am sure you're feeling is much more to the extreme than mine. It'll take a few days to get back into it again though. Plus, you're still healing and I doubt your mind cares about where you are. I'm just happy you're a free man. ^^

Had trouble sleeping at first but I've been sleeping in lately. It's nice being able to sleep without worrying about passing out for 20 hours or waking up feeling like crap.
