Chapters 1-7 (and some of 8). 69 standard paper-back pages, and almost 18,000 words... 
I'm just about done setting up the plot as far as characters go, but there is still no mention of the city of Fantelle, nor have all the major players come into the game yet.
I went back and did some editing, but only some. The dialogue is almost out of it's "static" form. Meaning, it's not just there for an outline of the conversation, it's closer to the final version than not. As for the events that happen through out, I still need to flesh some of it out, but it's probably as close to finished as it will get.
Lastly, I suggest you check out the map when-ever a country or city is said. It will help you as much as it helps me as far as visualizing where things are, and what kind of landscape to imagine.

btw, PLEASE tell me what you think. I am trying really hard to keep going with almost no feedback, but it's nice to hear if anyone likes it or not. I've spent so many hours working out plot lines and character arches, let alone freaking writing the thing out. It'd be nice to continue and finish it...
