Meli was washing the dishes on Friday night, and a black belted glass karate chopped her hand in self defense. Meli bled all over the place and found out that she is very woozy around her own blood, especially lots of it. She got 4 stitches out of it, and it looks pretty good. I guess the glass went pretty far underneath the skin. Pretty clean cut though. Anyway, here are some pictures of the blood puddle and her hand. PS: The blood images were taken after she had treatment. We didn't say "Wait Melissa, let me take pictures of the blood before we go to the hospital!"    |

oh Mel  hugs hun... how is it healing up? You poor girl. If I could, I would kiss it all better. If you get woozy from a bit of blood, you should NOT become a nurse. LOL Hope you heal up soon and all goes well. How many of you went to the hospital? Josh..did you make her drive herself? miss and love you both  |

She got the stitches out the other day and it's healing up pretty good. She was really lucky that it was such a smooth and clean cut.
We went to the hospital her mom works at, so her mom was there for a bit, but it was Micheal, Corey and myself with her. I wasn't home when it happened (working), and I was just getting off when she called and told me they were going to the hospital. Micheal drove her.
She's doing pretty good now and she's able to stretch her pinky pretty nicely.

Glad they were there to drive. Michael is spelled AE not EA, btw. how did you do with that? Did yo panic? How did you get to the hospital? Dude, you need to learn to drive, lol. I am so glad she is ok. It was wonderful hearing your voices on Sun. Love and miss you. |

Anyway, no, Corey had picked me up, and when I got to the hospital, I just wanted to get her calmed down, as she was panicking pretty good. I didn't panic though, and I had a good excuse to overly baby her. ^_^ It was really cute if anything, she's such a wuss, lol. It was adorable.
Right now it'll hurt if you touch it, or rub against it, but the swelling is pretty much all gone and I can finally hold her hand.

She did the dishes yesterday and today! Not only did she over come her over whelming fear of attacking flesh eating glasses, but she also was able to get her wound wet! YAY!
