Not sure if you knew but E3 is going on right now. I think this is like the third day? and I thought I'd just share some of the new stuff coming out:

Final Fantasy XIV [PS3 and supposedly PC]
Yeah, FF 14. I wish I were joking.. anyway, it's a MMORPG game like FF 11. This being the first MMORPG on PS3, I think.

God of War III [PS3]
Never played the God of Wars games but it's considered by many the best games on the PS2. In other words, they're popular as hell. So, i'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to this.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine [PS3, 360]
Ok, I honestly have no idea what type of game this is supposed to be but the cinematic teaser trailer was pretty cool. I do like Warhammer 40k's setting though.

Alien vs. Predator [PS3, 360, PC]
Despite what one may think, the old Alien vs Predator games were actually really good FPS shooters that let you choose between playing as an Alien, Predator or Marine and comes complete with all the stuff you see in the movies which makes them all different gameplay-wise. So quite a few people are looking forward to this one.

The Last Guardian [PS3]
By the team who brought you ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, so it's pretty much the same situation as God of War III.

Crysis 2 [PS3, 360, PC]
Oh lawd, more games no one can play. At least there's console ports now.

Front Mission Evolved [PS3, 360, PC]
.. Wait, what? Why did no one mention this? I just found out about it from looking for links for this thread. No love for the Front Mission. =(

White Knight Chronicles [PS3]
Always was interested in this title. Developed by Level 5 (Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, Dragon Quest VIII)

Halo 3 ODST [360]
LOL MORE HALO

Left 4 Dead 2 [360, PC]
Never played Left 4 Dead but it's basically a multiplayer FPS, survival game with zombies using Valve's source engine.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories [Wii]
Remake of the first Silent Hill game ("It's not a remake!" says the guy. LOL YES IT IS)

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles
Apparently it's some sort of on-rails Resident Evil game for the Wii. It'd be sweet if you could use the Wii mote instead of having to go out and buy a light gun.

Sin and Punishment 2 [Wii]
I like on-rail action games (think Starfox 64) so this had me interested. Never did play the first one.

Super Mario Galaxy 2] [Wii]
Oh, sweet Jesus..

Metroid: Other M [Wii]
Ok, granted there hasn't been a good Metroid game in a long time but I think this one looks alright, so far. Though, the fact that Team Ninja is doing it has me scared that it'll turn into NINJA GAIDEN: SAMUS EDITION.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom [Wii]
I liked the VS. Capcom games. I find it odd that they're bringing this over to the states, considering no one here knows what Tatsunoko is, though.

Golden Sun DS [DS]
Justin = DROOOOOOOOOOL

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny [PSP]
Soul Calibur game for PSP. Has new characters, like the dude from God of War because THERE ALWAYS NEEDS TO BE A CROSS OVER LOL. He actually fits in, though.[/url]



Of course, there's a lot of games I haven't mentioned but there's just too many to go through. Also, Sony is coming out with a new Waggle controller for the PS3. (lol Wii)
And Microsoft is coming out with Natal, some sort of body recognition camera for the 360. (lol Wii)

There is seriously only 1 original game that isn't a sequel or a remake of some kind. The Last Guardian.

That motion controller looks like it will own the WIi controller, as it's a more fully 3d experience. Also, I'm sure the PS3 will feature more games that use it other than just bowling, tennis or baseball.
The Natal thing seems to be cool as far as tech, but I don't see it as very... ranged in many games. I could just imagine Jay playing Soul Cal with it and knocking through a window or placing his foot through his TV. On top of that, how are you going to do any moves...?

Well, I only mentioned a couple of games like I said. There's a few original titles coming out like Bayonette for the PS3, for example. But I figured no one would really be interested.
Though I am interested in White Knight Chronicles, which is another original title.

The WNC looks interesting... It almost looks like a fantasy mecha from the few screens I've seen, but that's just an impression.
I am personally interested in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The first CoD:MW is AWESOME and probably the best fps game i've ever played. The next one looks very promising.
