I think that's interesting and all, but I somehow doubt they're "unlock the secrets of the universe" with this discovery like it seems to be suggesting. I don't think it's any more amazing than Mars or Jupiter's moons having ice caps on them, maybe it's because it's much closer? It would be awesome to have colonies on the moon though! I hope we have another space race soon, space is so amazing and needs to be explored. However, I do think that the universe will never be "unlocked" and no mind will ever be able to understand it, no matter what we "think" we know. To complex, perfect and just plain big. It's interesting, if you look around, everyone who has something to say about the universe (no matter who it is, smart or retarded) always tries to compare the universe with something we can understand. Some kind of metaphor that, in vain, attempts to help us to understand what is out there, or possibilities that lay on the brink of explanation. We will never know, never understand, nor ever be sure of anything, no matter how much we discover. While I would put my full support behind ANYONE who wants to explore it, discover things and colonize, it is a vain hope that we will understand ANYTHING. We are barely able to comprehend our own world on which we live (of which our understanding changes drastically from year the year), let-alone the hundreds of billions of stars, planets, galaxies and anomalies.
