After my most recent reformat I went to install my printer..put the disk in, ran it, etc and it keeps saying it's not plugged in. I plugged it in the different USB port but it didn't matter. Keeps saying nothing is there. My printer is on, so on. I have never had a problem before when I have reformatted. (lately it's been like 5 or 6 times, lol) This drive also won't my flash thingy so I doubt it's the cord. Help!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED my printer.

Wish I could help but I have no idea The gibberish it was printing back when it installed sounds like it needed to be aligned again like all the letters were mushed together Printers software should have an alignment option if you ever get it installed

It doesn't sound like the computers problem when your printer was doing that. My printer did that right away once I first turned it on. Like Jay said, it probably just needs to be placed back into alignment. You may have to use software to do so, but my printer can also do it manually using it's built-in menu opinions.
I would stop trying to reformat your computer for everything. You WILL have some sort of problem when you install a whole new operating system (reinstalling Windows). It's more of a matter of going through and fixing them on your own or having someone else do it for you. No install is perfect and clean. While reformatting takes care of a lot of software problems like viruses and corrupted files, it does not fix every little problem that directly deals with the operating system. Being your drives, system drivers and the like. It is very common to have multiple things install improperly, and reformatting again may fix the one problem, but will likely cause another.
My suggestion is to reformat one last time, then try to install your printer software on the CD, or directly download it from the makers website. You can look up the driver and find it by searching the printers make (HP, Canon, Dell, whatever), and the model (A223, 322, Z11 or whatver) in Google. Normally it brings you directly to the driver page and a few download opinions. It should work.
Stop reformatting for every problem. It's time consuming and it's a lot of work. 9 times out of 10, your can find and fix a problem on your own with much little effort and much less time. Just takes some research.
Hope that helps.

Until you and the Black JFK have to find a way to kill Baba-Hotep, who is ravaging the hospital while the nurses are none-the-wiser. Then your 70 year old homies will be heros.
