I sure love receiving ten million bills for crap I don't even know what it is. Oh, what's this? AHCCCS won't cover half of them? HERPDERPDERP

I know what you mean. When I had my procedure in February I got bills from like four different places. O.o Can't they just put it all on one bill?

Jay, you need to call your provider and let them know you are receiving bills that you shouldn't be paying. Bills are auto generated, not by a real person and speaking to a real person does help. You may also need to call each treating place and have them rebill AHCCS or bill the hospital who will take care of it. Justin received the bill from JohnsHopkins for the slides that were sent and two other places totalling thousands. I called them, they said to call the hospital lab and billing, so I did that and the lab paid JohnsHopkins and billed AHCCS who then paid etc. We never paid a penny. Sometimes it just depends how the bill is generated. St. Joes isn't an "AHCCS" hospital, so things get messed up. If after calling all parties (AHCCS, place that billed you, St Joes billing, etc) and you still have an issue, let me know what all you did and I will help make calls. When calling, write down the date, time, who you spoke with. Make notes. If you need to continue fighting this, it will make a difference. Also, if some place says you need to pay ask to speak with a supervisor, again, get names, etc. It's a pain, but a bigger pain to pay. Love you and good luck

Yeah, I need to call.. just never got around to it. I'll make sure to call probably Monday or Tuesday. My emergency room bill and my freaking massive radiology bill were denied because "not within date of service" because my AHCCS coverage started when I was actually admitted to the hospital, which was a day after being taken to the hospital and I was told that I need to talk to my AHCCS counselor about that.. I dunno, don't ask me. Still haven't received a bill from the Surgeon.. dunno what that means. I did receive a $600 bill from the first Surgeon though, which was just for counsel consisting of "SORRY, CAN'T HELP YOU LOL"
