It is now day 2 of E3. It's been disappointing for the most part.. most of the focus is on Sony's and Microsoft's new motion controls to compete with Nintendo in the casual market, which is where all the big bucks are at. Yesterday was just so sad.. it was nothing but crap like this or this or this or this.. yeah, you get the point. Although I do admit the dancing game might be kinda fun but it still manages to make everyone look completely retarded. I couldn't help but laugh while watching it.

Ok, I'm actually impressed. Has a good line up of games for launch and it's technical capabilities are definitely better. Better graphics and apparently game cards hold 2 Gb now, as opposed to DS which were like 64-258 Mb for a game or something. I just wish the screens were bigger and had higher resolution but oh well.

Honestly, the new Zelda game looks a bit silly. Although I am only judging on graphics, I REALLY liked the serious look of Twilight Princess, and really wish they kept with that look for a bit longer than just one game. The new one looks like a cross between Wind Waker and the 64 Zelda's....

The new Silent Hill game looks interesting, but man, the graphics look worse on the new one than they did on the PS2 games... I think SH is getting pretty old. You can only visit the same old creepy town so many times.... -_- While it was amazingly creepy and freaky the first few games, you can only do so much.

I'd REALLY like to see the 3DS in action. They don't show anything as far as samples or action shots. Kinda frustrating.

Seems to be a non-Xbox year? Did you just not post any Xbox stuff cause you know it sucks? Or is there really nothing interesting coming out for it this time?

Yeah. Actually, a lot of people consider this new Zelda to be a hybird between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess as far as graphics. Personally I thought Twilight Princess looked a lot better.

I haven't played most of the Silent Hill games but from what a lot of fans say, the series died after 3 or 4.

Xbox really didn't have much going for it this year but there are a couple of games coming out for it.. like a new Halo, a new Gears of War and a couple of original titles but I didn't mention it since I figured no one would be interested. But yeah, a lot of people weren't impressed with Microsoft at this year's E3. There are a bunch of multi-plat (PS3 & 360) titles coming out though.

Indeed, the series was dead to me after 4. While 4 was an amazing addition to the series (and one of the best imo), it was also a strong mark of "It won't get any better".
To me, I think the psychological aspects of SH are absolutely fascinating, deep and well thought, you can only go so far. Plus, I try not to play games like that anymore anyway.

Twilight Princess was, in my opinion, what Zelda should be. That game, along with the two N64 games proved to me that the Zelda series was really meant to be a bit more on the serious side.

Yeah, I am consistently unimpressed with Xbox titles. Halo is a joke, and Gears of War is basically Unreal Tournament only more violent/realistic. After that, I cannot think of another game worth mentioning on Xbox that isn't already on PS3 or PC.

I didn't know there was 8 Silent Hills. 2 was really cool and i really got in to 4. i got the psp one but didn't play to much of it. i wanted to get the one for ps3 but just never did. i don't like it when they use things from the movie it dose not have the same feel.

what about Viva pinata? They had it for $15 at walmart and some one told me it was fun. so i got it. its like harvest moon but bad. some guy keeps coming to my farm and killing my pinatas. i need a gun turret. i've been getting alot of 360 games. there not realy good ones. have not been playing many of my games. i'm more collecting them. I looking forward to dead rising 2 and fable 3.
