I love math. Numbers are interesting, problem solving is generally fun, and being able to think about things in terms of math is fascinating. Not so with my math class.
It's not so much the problems that I need to do that make the class frustrating.
It's the fact that I spend up to 30-some minutes on some SINGLE problem, only to find out I got the answer wrong and have to start over from scratch.
It's the fact that I have 20 of these problems a day.
It's also the fact that I have 3 math tests every Sunday, one of which is 30+ of these problems, and another is 20 more of these problems.
It's also the fact that I spend a good 3-4 hours a day just doing homework, not including the time I need to take to actually study what it is I am doing.
It's also the fact that I work on the later part of the week, during the time I should be studying for my tests.
It's also the fact that I am taking another class, which takes a good couple hours a day as well.
Yes, on my days off, I should have no problem (and normally don't). However, when I work 10-12 hours on Wednesday, and 14 on Saturday, and 8 hours Thurs-Fri... It's a bit... eh... Frustrating to cram all of this nonsense in my brain and still have time to go to the bathroom.
I woke up this morning, made some calls relating to the house, spent 10 hours at work, 3 hours on math, only finished 16 out of the 20 problems on time, and I still have yet to study for my other class... Which I have a test due on Friday (good luck finding time for that one)....
What's REALLY FRUSTRATING is that Meli's sister hasn't even GONE to her classes within the past WEEK, let alone study for them, AND she's still passing!!!!! I'm here working several hours a day on math, and I ALMOST have a B.
I want to be done with this quarter... *passes out*
Here's a couple videos of the things I am currently doing (mind you, this is but one general concept I've learned. Within this specific method, there are several sub-concepts within it. Reminder: I have to learn 5 or 6 different concepts a day... somehow....)
