I got the new BTech Box Set from BattleCorps on Friday. It was 40 bucks (with $10 shipping), and boy was it worth it. It comes with tons of stuff, including 24 plastic miniatures, which are exact copies of the their metal versions (as much as plastics can be). It also came with a map of the Inner Sphere, a history book of the Inner Sphere, and streamlined record sheets and 2 double sided map sheets. The minis are great for the price, but a bit cheap over all, and remind me of "army men" plastic. They are very durable, especially sense a few mechs are REALLY freakin' thin. Also, the metal equivalents are about 5 or 6 dollars each on average, which would be about 120 bucks... @_@ My minis cost me about 1.60 each! MUWAHAHAA!!! Anyway, the only couple bad things, is that the minis are made of cheap plastic, and there-for, details are lost, and there is a LOT of excess plastic (Which I've spent all day X-acto knifing). Another bad thing, is that it is only tech level 1 (when they are now out with level 4 tech, so the weapons and other equipment feel REALLY out of date). Great set though, and I hope they make another set soon. Maybe an expansion set? ^_~ Here's a picture of all the new minis that came in the box. They are sorted light to heavy. Light starting at the bottom. And here is my current collection of mechs. I have 49 of them now, most of them plastics. The bottom right group is all the Clan mechs, the rest is Inner Sphere. Soon I'll post a picture or two of my Hero Scape set!
