Got mine in the mail just a little bit ago. Played a quick match vs easy to get used to it a bit. I really like the Imperials.
It's really different from SCII, or any other Blizzard game. I'm really excited to play it next week. I hope a I get a couple more games in before then so I at least have a couple strats that work.
One thing I really love is that you can customize your squads AFTER you build them, like arming them with different weapons and leaders.

Ok, I think there's a problem.. apparently it's a DVD-ROM (could've sworn it said CD-ROM on amazon?) and I'm pretty sure Justin doesn't have a DVD drive.

I actually wondered the same thing. I tried calling him when I got him from work tonight, but he didn't answer. I'll call him tomorrow. I'm assuming you got your copy as well?
It does say CD Rom though:

Here's a site with maps, mods and other goodies. I'll probably be downloading some maps and what have you later after we play (so I know what I want). dawnofwar.filefront.com/

I got my copy and it is a DVD but you're right, it says CD on Amazon. Weird. BTW, I dunno if you saw the Army Painter option. I think it's pretty cool.. can change your army's color scheme and emblem/banner flag.

Indeed, I saw that. I spent some time painting yesterday. Looks like a really in-depth game...
I guess Justin does in fact have a DVD ROM, and apparently has SCII hard copy.
