I had wondered for a while if I had to narrow my movie collection (or buy specific movies) down to 10 movies, what would they be?
Obviously, it's not very realistic to actually narrow it down, but still I thought it would be fun to post them here:
My top ten favorite movies I wouldn't want to be without... In no particular order:
Kingdom of Heaven:
A fantastic movie about a mans journey to Jerusalem, and fairly historically accurate. It's a bit bloodly, but very intensely awesome. Easly one of my favorite movies ever.

Inception:
A interesting, mind-bending movie with all the twists, flicks and fists of a psycho-thriller. I thought the plot, acting, characters and pretty much everything else was just perfect. A very very good movie worth watching at least twice.

The Longest Day:
Easily the best World War 2 movie I've seen. The 4-hour-long epic encompassed the entire invasion of Normandy, from initial planning, to execution. From the beach-head, to paratroopers, to the recapturing of France. This movie is just awesome.

Star Trek:
Not sure which one, but all of them are really awesome... I suppose I will say that I REALLY loved the re-make, but all the originals are just as good. My favorite series, a favorite movie series... Wouldn't want to part with this.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind:
Honestly one of the coolest, freshest, and moving dramas I've seen. It's witty, fun, sad, romantic, fun, and well acted through-out. It has a bit of surrealism involved, which just adds to it.

The Princess Bride:
Need I say more? Seriously the most quoted movie (probably the only quoted movie?) of my life.
www.imdb.com/title/tt0093779/
The Fifth Element:
I honestly could go as far to say this movie is like the Princess Bride of the sci-fi genre. Lots of memorable characters/quotes/scenes, great action, a rich plot, and a great sci-fi setting.

Castle in the Sky:
Probably my favorite from Mayazaki, and one of my favorite movies ever. I absolutely get the willies when I watch it. Between nostalgia, the fact that it's a great movie anyway and the sense of adventure leaves me with a fuzzy feeling every time I see it.

It's A Wonderful Life:
Seriously one of the greatest movies ever... Black and white or not, it's a really awesome concept that is really well done.
www.imdb.com/title/tt0038650/
Starcraft: The Movie.
It hasn't been made yet, but I'm sure if it was made well, it would be a good movie... lol
