I ordered the Megaman NT Warrior ccg (collectable card game) the other day... Should be here Thursday... It's a dead ccg, I don't even think the company exists anymore, but it's on sale for 7 bucks for a booster BOX *24 packs of 10 cards per box), and 7 bucks for a starter BOX (10 starter sets per box). I ordered a Starter and Booster box for now, but there are 3 series, and lots of rares and whatever... Not much for collecter games, but IT'S SO CHEAP!!! The game play is interesting too. Unlike magic or pokemon, you only have a single character, and the rest of the deck is items and other cards to aid your character in a duel. The interesting thing is, you spend cards to attack and "power up", but your deck is also your life, so any time you are attacked, you discard cards from your deck. Once your deck runs out, you die. Anyway, I am pretty thrilled. I collect the Star Trek CCG too, but even though it's dead, it is still really expensive, as it was apparently pretty popular (50 bucks for a booster box). I wanted something I could get every couple months rather than once a year.. Anyway, for under 20 bucks, I am getting 850 Megaman cards. Sadly, the main reason I wanted them is because they are Megaman... And not even the Megaman I like, but a Megaman I've never played, never watched and almost never heard of, lol. BUT IT WAS 7 DOLLARS!!! Cool thing is, I am getting the Protoman and Pharaohman starters >: ) www.tradecardsonline.com/img/cards/MegaMan/541/big/2St79.jpg

Never got into NT Warrior/Battle Network but I know Justin was really into it. Maybe playing the CCG would be something he'd be interested in.
Sorta unrelated but I've been playing Magic the Gathering with Jon. Or more specifically a video game version of the card game. Never really understood how to play it until now but even then I don't know what I'm doing half the time. Always liked Magic's artwork though.

All the times I played Magic, I didn't like it. The mechanic, plus the money you sink into it is just way to wacked out for me. Plus, I'm trying to stay away from darker stuff. Magic's art is often really cool though. I want to say I've seen a art book just of MtG paintings.
Yeah, I never looked too much into the NT Warrior games. I thought the battle system was cool looking, but never actually played it. Having played the CCG like, 20 times now, it is really fun. It's light hearted in the sense that the mechanics are pretty easy to understand, but the timing and long term strats you need are actually kind of surprising. I mean, it's not the best game ever, but it is surprisingly good for how poorly it did. Also, unlike most CCGs I've seen/heard of/played, it's pretty balanced. The Ultra Rare cards are not much better than the ones that come in the starters. I mean, making your own deck more personalized and powerful is WAY better than the starters, but on a card-by-card level, they have good disadvantages to level out their bonuses.
Honestly, if you think Justin would play, I would consider actually buying a set or two so you guys could play. Again, it's not a GREAT game, but for the amount of cards you get, and for the price, it would be hard to find anything better.

Got a new set of Megaman Nt Warrior today. It's such a big hit at work that I just had too. We play it almost every day (whether I actually play or the kids play). I have well over 1500 cards now, and have yet to spend more than 40 bucks (the price of what, like, 8 M:TG or Pokemon boosters?) I have 14 different NetNavis, and about 10 different well made decks ready to use.
Sadly, like all CCGs, I have billions of doubles! Like, seriously... Honestly, I may end up making you guys a couple decks if I get another set (which is almost inevitable) so you guys can enjoy it (you and Justin).

I found a way to play Megaman online! And just about any other CCG known to man... Anyone interested? I have all of the image files and deck info for download if you want. You need to know the rules and stuff, but it's pretty easy (imo). Wouldn't mind playing with you guys every once in a while. I love played traditional games, and this is one of the only ways I can actually play them... X.X Download this program. There are tutorials on how to use it on their site, but it's pretty straight forward. www.lackeyccg.com/
