Wow... Just wow. Seriously need that game now, just for that reason. Totally not fair that it's not for PC... -_-

Yeah I thought the character creation looked pretty sweet. I especially love the ability to change patterns and layer stickers and place them where ever, it makes your character's outfits actually look unique. Release date was revealed to be January 31, 2012 which is about two months away. I still feel like not much has even been revealed about the game.. like there hasn't been information about game modes (other than the character creation) and only about a dozen characters have been shown. I don't know if you've seen some of the new characters but Xianghua's daughter is actually one of the characters, as her replacement I suppose: apps.facebook.com/soulcaliburchar/leixiaThere's also a lot of speculation amongst the Soul Calibur fanbase that Viola is actually Amy and that she somehow lost her memories. It'd be kinda weird but I'm starting to think they're right because I can see the resemblance: apps.facebook.com/soulcaliburchar/viola

Wonder if there was a way to play it on my PC... -_- SCV hates me. Want so bad... Honestly I've never been closer to buying a pS3 for a single game in my life than I am right now. Is it just me, or did the story make the game seem even more epic?

Honestly cannot wait to play this. Any chance of them porting it to PC? You know... Microsoft IS both Xbox and Windows. ^^;;

Game is out now. Here's some videos: Story ModeArcade ModeReally cool online Lobby SystemOnline ranked modeEveryone's saying that the game is very lacking in the single player department but that the gameplay itself is really good and reminiscent of Soul Calibur 1 & 2 (supposedly SC3 and SC4 play completely differently and are the death of the franchise.. how I have no idea but that's what the fighting game purists say) and that the online multiplayer system is really good. Which is awesome because SC4's online system was an abomination.

Yeah, I am really excited about this one coming out. Although it's lacking in single player, I know at least SC3 was pretty different in combat than the other 2 games. Except for the awesome character creation in SC3, I like SC2 a lot more in terms of combos, and style. Maybe it's just because that is what we got started on? Anyway, yeah, I almost want to buy a PS3 for this game alone. Easily one of the best looking games out there. The online lobby looks awesome, I love that you can watch a replay in-lobby. Very cool. Did you get the game or are you basing it on the videos?

Personally I'd wait for a price drop. The 4th game dropped like, 10-15 dollars within the first 3 months of being released. Plus I'm sure there are a lot of other games you could play before then ^_^

Yeah, actually I have too many games as it is.. like I have probably several dozen for PC or PS3 that I haven't beaten yet. Only thing that makes me tempted to get the game right off the bat is that the first month or so a game is released the online servers are filled with "noobs" and then as the game gets older, all the noobs either move on to the next new release or practice and become really really good. So basically the online games become nothing but pros fighting it out. At least that's what it was like with every other fighting game I bought.
