www.humblebundle.com/I've heard it mentioned but I didn't really know what it was until now. Basically it's a charity thing that a bunch of indie game developers donate their games for. They sale a bundle of PC games every couple of weeks and you can pay any price you want (even one penny) and the money goes to what ever you wish - be it charity, a game developer, or the website to help bandwidth costs. If you pay more than the average (it'll show what the average is on the website) you get bonus games. Thought it's pretty cool so I figured I'd let you guys know. I may have to get that. I'll probably wait until I can put a few extra dollars into it though. I wouldn't feel right getting those for just a couple cents. Gratuitous Space Battles is worth paying a few bucks anyway, since it's like, 20 bucks normally. Always wanted to play Night Sky and Bit Trip Runner too.

So I got to play a couple games for a few minutes. Space Battles is a little deeper than I thought, but its also more simple, as the battles are completely automated. Love it though.
Night Sky is also insanely fun/awesome. Haven't played anything else thus far. I am looking forward to playing Cave Story and Bit Trip Runner tomorrow maybe.

Decided that my body is in some kind of overdrive? Can't sleep, and I'm not currently coughing so bad that I cannot see. So, trying out some of these new games.
Jamestown = AWESOME. Got through level 2, it took a couple tries but it was pretty easy (played only on normal though). Still, I like the setting, and it is nostalgic of old arcade shooters (top down, you know those).
Bit Trip Runner is HARD. I dunno why it is, but it is HATEFULLY hard. Maybe it's just me.
Shank is ok. Didn't really play much of it (maybe a couple minutes really). I'll try it out more later. Doesn't seem like my sort of game though.
Night Sky just rocks. It's relaxing, fun, and visually stimulating.
Trying Super Meat Boy right now, and Cave Story will probably wait till tomorrow.

Scratch that. Super Meat Boy SUCKS without a game pad. I only has a keyboard. -_-

I actually owned Super Meatboy already. Bought it awhile back for like $10 I think. Thought it was pretty fun at least for the first world or two.. I guess it sorta falls into the hatefully hard category or maybe just a bit repetitive. Like some of the later levels you can easily spend a hour and just die none stop trying to beat one level. I think the dev's other game, The Binding of Issac, is a lot more fun.
Only played two of the other games - Jamestown and Cave Story+. Jamestown is a lot of fun. I like how you earn money after every mission and can purchase stuff. Cave Story is actually a freeware game created by one person in the course of five years. It gained popularity, got picked up by a publisher and got released for Nintendo Wii and Steam with new features and stuff. It's pretty similar to Metroid and NES games in general. There's tons of secrets, weapons and power ups in the game to find but it's also sort of the game's downfall because you WILL get lost if you're not reading a walkthrough. Also the remastered music is terrible. I'd change the music to "original" in the options if you plan on playing it because at least the 8-bit music is catchy.
