That Street Fighter movie sounds awesome, in a bad way. Been watching the new Spice & Wolf too. I did drop Haruhi though.. I couldn't stand the Endless Eight crap. The first two episodes were OK. After the third or fourth, I went insane. Thank god it's over now. HECK YEAH, YOU ARE THE BEST MOVIE EVER. HEAVEN'S FEEL MOVIE TOO, PLEASE.

Looks cool, but I still think the name is silly. Japanglish anime names, lol. Gotta love'em.

Not sure whats going on, but the animation looks beautiful. I'll have to put that on the list of anime I want to watch but likely never will, lol. I hate that. It's SO hard to sit here and watch anime (or anything else for that matter) by myself. Interesting looking anime though... Did she die? What's the story behind this? Maybe I shouldn't be watching that if I plan on watching it, lol.

Yes, but she never dies in a parallel world, as odd as that sounds. What's the story behind this? Boy falls in love with girl. Boy marries girl. Girl dies after child birth. Grandparents take care of child, while boy decides to act exactly like his father and not be a part of his child's life. Years later, grandparents trick boy into going on a trip with child. Boy acts like a jackass for the majority of the trip but ultimately realizes where everything went wrong, forms a relationship with child and child ends up living with boy. All is well until child gets sick just like her mother and drops dead. Boy decides "Ah, screw it. I NO LONGER HAVE A REASON TO LIVE!" and drops dead as well. In the actual ending, they're alive again but I won't get into that as it's kinda hard to explain. It actually makes more sense if one has played the visual novel. And that's actually just one brief description of one route, which is basically the real ending. There's like thirteen or something different routes.. most all of which is in the anime to some extent. So yeah, that's only part of the story. The best being Tomoyo's route (which didn't work in the anime, grr) and the After Story, which is the real route with the child and everything. After Story was so awesome and not even because of all the "BLARG EPIC DEATH" type stuff but because of all the stuff with the main character trying to get a foot in life and trying to fit in society. Getting a hard as nails job, a small crappy apartment, getting married and having your wife move in with you and just trying to live out in the real world. The anime sort of rushes through it but I found it really touching in the visual novel. It honestly felt so realistic, like the writer based it on his own life. Heck, it even sort of reminded me of my own life. Maybe I shouldn't be watching that if I plan on watching it, lol. They're pretty big spoilers so not really, no.

Sounds massively depressing... Sounds pretty good though. A good story of "you don't know what you got till it's gone" kind of thing.

New season is about to start. Which means more Inuyasha, which is finally going to wrap everything up. Also more Darker than Black. Actually started watching it, probably a year and a half ago, because I thought the opening was pretty awesome. Watched a few episodes and then stopped for whatever reason. Started watching it again and finished last night. Pretty good show. One of the best "episodic" series. Better than Cowboy Bebop, IMO, which most people consider to be the OMG BEST SHOW EVER. (along with Eva) So I'm definitely looking forward to season 2.

Watched the Gurren Lagann movies. They were OK. Just recaps of the series with some new scenes. That final battle though.. oh man. I guess two Galaxy-sized mecha fighting it out isn't ridiculous enough, so they bring it up a notch. So you got a mecha, combining with another mecha and then piloting a mecha the size of a city, which is piloting a mecha bigger than the moon, which is piloting a 10 million light year tall mecha the size of a galaxy WHICH then combines with other galaxy sized mecha.. to form a mecha, if you can even call it that, practically the size of the universe that even dwarfs galaxies. ....Hahaha oh wow. Also, I love the first fight with the anti-spiral. Good stuff right there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaG7GVrFL3c&playnext_from=TL&fmt=16

Don't think you guys will ever finish Code Geass but that's alright. I actually haven't watched any anime for awhile because I can't find anything worth watching. Been spending most of my time playing PC games. I did just watch the second of the new Evangelion movies, though. Came out two years after the first one was released. Man, time flies.. Anyway, it was pretty good. Way better theatrics and it's been deviating more and more from the original TV series which is good IMO. The TV series was full of emo MY DADDY HATES ME/I DON'T WANT TO PILOT crap. Some of those scenes are still there unfortunately but it's funny how it's only in those few old scenes, which there actually isn't a whole lot. All the new stuff is full of characters actually being decent. Seriously, like Shinji's balls drop in some of these scenes, especially at the end of the movie, and he suddenly becomes A REAL MAN: img686.imageshack.us/img686/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngimg28.imageshack.us/img28/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngimg6.imageshack.us/img6/7536/utwthoraevangelion222yof.pngSeriously, like what the heck. Also, remember how Shinji's friend was piloting Unit 04 or whatever, it was taken over by an angel and Shinji killed him and then became all emo? In this version, it's Asuka. (Unfortunately) she doesn't die but she does get replaced by a completely new and vastly superior character who pilots Unit 02. Only problem I have with her is that I feel like she hasn't gotten enough character development but hopefully she becomes a very active character in the next movie: img8.imageshack.us/img8/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngimg443.imageshack.us/img443/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngimg338.imageshack.us/img338/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngimg690.imageshack.us/img690/4306/utwthoraevangelion222yom.pngimg6.imageshack.us/img6/406/utwthoraevangelion222yo.pngSo all in all, still flawed but actually pretty good. Unfortunately human instrumentality still seems to be part of the story, which means it'll probably turn into crap just like the TV series with chairs, tang/jellow or what have you. The biggest problem I had with the series was the stupid ending and the nonsensical plot.
